Skeletal Dysplasia

Skeletal Dysplasia Multidisciplinary Team Meeting

A specialist MDT meeting is held online on alternate months to review the radiology and clinical presentation of children with known or suspected skeletal dysplasia. It takes place 6 times a year on the first Tuesday from 1.30 to 3.30 pm-(January, March, May, July, September, November).

The aim of the MDT is to facilitate diagnosis of paediatric skeletal dysplasia and discuss appropriate investigation and management. The team consists of paediatric radiologist, Dr Maniyar, paediatric endocrinologists Dr Skae and Dr Chinoy, paediatric geneticist Dr Chandler and paediatric orthopaedic surgeon, Mr Manolis. All clinicians have a special interest and expertise in skeletal dysplasia. Other clinicians are invited to attend to present the patient they wish to be discussed at the MDT.
